AGSA is UCSD’s own Anthropology Graduate Student Association.

The Anthropology Graduate Student Association (AGSA) serves to represent the interests and priorities of graduate students in the UC San Diego Anthropology Department. The AGSA meets monthly to discuss issues within the department and plan events, which serve to increase community, give students opportunities to share their research, and provide students a space to organize for departmental improvement. The Anthropology Department GSA representatives report to the AGSA, and the AGSA has a presence during monthly anthropology faculty meetings.

Keep an eye out for events like the departmental colloquia, the AGSA’s annual symposium, defenses, and more.
